Meet
Joan-Marie Manolakis, DMD

Dr. Manolakis is currently the only board-certified Endodontist practicing in south Alabama. She is an Alabama native and summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Spanish. Upon graduation from the University of Alabama, she followed her passion for service and continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She decided to focus her training solely on endodontics, and her specialty training commenced as she matriculated into the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine post-graduate endodontics program. Upon completion of residency, she returned to the South where she practiced in the greater Birmingham area. She is the mother to a beautiful daughter and son. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking and exercising. Her favorite activities and memories are focused around quality time spent with her family.
